Parting with a collection!

My friend Sabrina decided to part with all of her collection, as she needs a financial push in her projects.
After selling most of her Breyer & AR collection, we spoke about her vintage toys collection one. So that's why Cléclème & I headed to her home for a week-end to help her with that.

Been a long time since we haven't been reunited together, and I even never wrote about that last time in april 2017

We enjoyed a short time, with no horse riding this time -no time for that- but some thrift market and while waiting for some plastic jug promished by one vendor, we headed to the lake, where we usually did a lot of photoshooting back in the days.

It's some of Sabrina's favorite place, as well.

But it's just a step in a life, isn't it? And I hope the best for her with her real horses now!

It gave us a blast to put in order her toys.
I got back one of my childhood Barbie horse (the brown one on the picture) and got as a gift a lot of accessories and props...

In a way it was a return to our roots and I'm glad we did it.
Can't wait to see you again girls!

Castle Back!

So if you remember well, last year, my friend Cléclème and I got to Versaille for a "castle shooting" and it was a lot of fun!
So we decided to do it again, but this time we choose another castle of course!

Going there for one week, we planned a lot of activities and it started with a lot of rain, ruining our wishes to do fleamarkets all week end, but we managed to found some sunshine to do both thrifting and horse/mule back riding. I got a Franche Montagne gelding called Hermès.

On monday we headed on Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle, well for science... this kind of activities...

Yep that's our definition of "elegance". We got early at the Castle so we got ALL day to play and it was worth it!
For the Castle itself to it's garden, we toured everything...

Next day we got back to the barn.
I did a few pictures of Cléclème and her Mule,

But that day was mostly about foals pictures. As the newborns were outside, So let's go, paparazzi ourselves! Of course, to me it sounded like a clone attack, but well... here's all three of them!

 It was also time for a good foal scratch... not easy to get close at first, but... with patience...

 A victory for me! Less easy for Cléclème with the filly...

But a victory with the 3rd foal as well! (not the same as mine)

And I couldn't resist to snagg a picture of Hiramis, shining near us... too white pony is too white!

Of course, I wasn't done with modelhorse pictures and did another shooting at Cléclème's castle (where she lives). So be ready for some spamm!!

And the next raining day was another epic story as well... the weather should never have stucked us inside... never. Or maybe it was for the best?

So we did...

Castle Tour & Mule (living the chatelain dream)

It's been a while since the last time I saw one of my hobby friend. This time, we finally managed to see us once more.
For Clémentine's birthday, I get to her near Paris. She moved house a lot those past years, just as me. So we never met in the same place... and I never get to her actual.

Since the last time, a lot of things changed. As, she's now living in a Castle (believe it or not), must exactly in the old stabble's castle, that are now appartements.

The other and most important change, is that she finally gets her horse. Who's a mule, in fact. Congratz Clémentine!

As it's really near Paris (for her work), on the first day of our trip, we headed to Versailles. Yes of course. Bad luck for us, we had to go on a saturday because of the weather, so it was CROWDED. I felt like it was the end of the world when I saw ALL those people. Because you know, we intended to get a Modelhorse shooting there!
Of course, we managed to do it and the weather was so good we even ate front of water in the castle garden.

In fact, our main enemy despite the people, was an ugly scaffolding on one of the main wing.

And the most interresting was horse spotting... well, not real ones saddly.

It inclued a tour to see the wonderful royal carriage... oh dear... I already spoke about historic horses around Versailles, but let's enjoy those too...

 I bough some books about these, so I didn't take a lot of pictures myself, sorry.

Next day was all about Clémentine's mule, she's called Brune and I did pictures of them both, profitting from the sun who was back again!

Mule can do anything!

Also, I did some modelhorse pictures around the castle, because I feeled like you cannot stay in such a place and do not take any pictures of it!

The day after was split between riding... for both of us...

And Brune was back to her favorite activity...

So we  get back to our program and did a tourist tour of Sens, the city next to the castle and shopping (Clémentine needed a new camera). I forget to take pictures without horses, so here's one taken by Clémentine last autumn...

Well, we also managed to found "interresting" things while shopping, this one make us laugh a lot... (such a pity in the same time):

This is bondage for kids!

On the last day, we had rain, less rain and rain again, so it was mostly a movie day. But also, I had to try a picture in the back of the castle, so we kind of throw together some false ground (as the normal one was too wild for little horses)... it was the first time I tried this kind of cheat. I do prefer not to do this again in the end ahaha.

That's all. It was quick, but always a delight to play with a good friend! See yah next time!
