Architecture

Last month, on instagram I did a few days of intense posting around the thema "Architecture"!
Buildings are always a challenge to catch, but I'm never ready to let go.

Do you like that thema as much as me?

Maybe you'll love a bit of context?

This is the Atomium. Atomium is to Belgium, what's Eiffel Tower is to France.
Made for the universal expo of 1958, it represent an Iron crystal mesh (molecule).

This is Brussel's Grand place, every façade of this place evoque a ship front... high commercial place,  they all features their guild arms. It's the symbol of the city.

This is the fort at St-Vincent-les-forts, France. Hence this one have nothing special, it's one of the numberous fort or France. This one started at medieval time and got ameliorated with time. This one, as well a other in the same area, protected the alps both from the Italian and the Provençal invasions.

This is Passy's castle, like the fort, it's just one out of many castles of France. And like many, it have been converted in appartements.

This is Vaux-le-Vicompte castle's stables. This prized castle was envied from Versailles.

Vaux-le-Vicomte's garden. As you can see, it's stagged to offer a view on that golden sculpture uphill. The hill is artificial and part of the garden plan.

Versailles. Does that castle need an introduction?

This is Vizille castle, wich was a high place of the french's resistance.

This is Sens' pirory. Well... It's not a castle but still beautiful. Near Passy's castle.

And to finish, le Grand Puy ski ressort... because well... I've worked there this winter.

Wich one do you like best? Would you like to see more Architecture?
Will do another recap on another thema next month for sure!
